Under the direction of the Manager of Digital Experience, the Web Developer develops and maintains the Saint Mary's University web site for campus departments and provides training assistance and support to the university community for the web site and associated technologies.

The Web Developer works out of the External Affairs Department and reports to the Manager of Digital Experience.

Union affiliation for this position is with the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union (NSGEU), Local 79. The position is evaluated at a Group 8 (salary range $46,011 - $56,243).

Qualifications

To be the successful Web Developer you will possess a two-year Community College level program in Information Technology and a minimum of two (2) years of directly related experience. A certificate in Web Technologies and equivalent experience will be considered. The successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to build strong positive relationships with internal and external customers.
