Under the direction of the Manager, Maintenance and Operations, provides direct day-to-day supervision and support to a team of Maintenance Assistants, Maintenance I, Lead Carpenter, Carpenters, Lead Electrician, Electricians, Lead HVAC Technician, Controls Technician, Painters Rink Attendant - Lead, Rink Attendants, Lead Plumber and Plumbers.

Group affiliation for this position is with the Administrative, Professional, Confidential (APC) Group. The position is evaluated at a Group 6 (salary range $64,789 - $83,489). Salary scale can be viewed here.

What you'll need

Qualifications

To be the successful Trades and Maintenance Supervisor you will possess a Mechanical Trade school Power Certificate with Journeyman status or 3rd Class Power Engineering License and three (3) years' experience plus three (3) years supervisory experience in a large complex with multiple systems and buildings. You must have supervisory experience in a unionized environment, knowledge of building systems, maintenance and construction management, ability to work in a team environment and effective customer service skills. The successful candidate must be available to take emergency calls, 24 hours a day.
