Join Our Team as a Test Automation Specialist at Atlantic Lottery!
Are you passionate about driving quality through innovation and automation? As the Test Automation Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our testing strategy. Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of a robust suite of automated test scripts that accelerate delivery, reduce costs, and elevate product quality.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams to understand new features, align with business priorities, and craft reusable, scalable automated tests for smoke, functional, and performance testing. Your expertise will ensure that automation is seamlessly integrated into the development lifecycle, enabling faster feedback and continuous improvement.
Beyond test creation, you'll take ownership of monitoring automation health, responding to alerts, and delivering actionable insights through KPI-driven reporting.

Salary Band: $58,296 - $87,444 - A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 at the time of this posting. (Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, market conditions, relevant experience, education, training and internal equity).
Work Location: Hybrid option working from our Moncton NB office.
- Onboarding/Probation: Full-time in-office for the first 6 months, based in Moncton, NB.
- After Probation: You can choose to either continue working full-time in the office or switch to a hybrid model, coming into the office 2-3 times a week.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Assess existing and new functionality introduced via corporate initiatives to determine the scope of automation required to support.
- Provide estimates for test automation work required in support of corporate projects.
- Responsible for work distribution and oversight of test automation development efforts.
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of an automated test bed.
- Responsible for monitoring and responding to alerts generated by automated tests.
- Train new employees on test automation processes and tools.
- Measure and report on test automation KPIs.
- Investigate and evaluate new techniques and tools for the continuous improvement of test automation processes and methodologies.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in the development and deployment of test automation strategies.
- Understanding of, and experience with using, different automation frameworks and tools.
- Solid knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Computer Science is preferred.
- Must be 19 years of age or older to apply.
- Must reside in Atlantic Canada.
