The Opportunity

RevTalent is currently seeking an Industrial Territory Manager on behalf of our customer - A leading supplier of tools, fasteners, chemicals and paint to industry and commercial businesses throughout the Maritimes.

This position reports directly to the President and will cover a territory comprised of the SouthnShore and the Annapolis valley. They will ensure the development of new customers and the retention of existing customers.

What you'll do


  • 20-25% of your time will be spent maintaining existing relationships and building sales
  • with these accounts.
  • 75-80% of your time will be prospecting new business opportunities and establishing
  • new accounts in a pre-existing territory
  • Creating sales orders for customers, as well as selling goods from on-hand inventory
  • Keeping up to date with new product information
  • Setting up new VMI accounts and servicing existing VMI accounts
  • Creating weekly sales reports and attending weekly sales meetings with the team

What you'll need


  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Up to 25% of travel time could involve overnight travel (5-6 days/month).
  • Experience with Industrial customers in the target market
  • General knowledge of the hardware industry and familiarity with the product lines are considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ideal candidate will reside Truro, South Shore, or Annapolis Valley
  • A strong emphasis on customer service, customer satisfaction and a history of building long term customer relationships
