Join the Ocean Supercluster team for an exciting and challenging internship/co-op opportunity. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment as we grow Canada's ocean economy in a digital, sustainable, and inclusive way.

Join our pan-Atlantic team in our next critical stage of growth and development. This a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in working in the Canadian ocean economy and innovation sectors alongside large and small companies, research institutions and non-profits, as well as building exceptional member experiences. You will learn a lot about what it takes to build a collaborative national initiative in a 12-16-week internship.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Support the automation of reporting and program processes
  • Support the team with program management activities
  • Support the documentation and centralization of processes across departments
  • Update and improve upon resources available to our stakeholders
  • Coordinate onboarding of projects in the program delivery phase
  • Set up and maintain project records across the program lifecycle
  • Draft reports for Technology Leadership Program
  • Undertake economic research, support team with stakeholder mapping and industry insights
  • Develop presentations and speaking notes as needed

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Fourth/fifth year undergraduate/co-op student or post-secondary/diploma program student between semesters
    • Those who have recently finished a degree or a diploma program may be considered
  • At least one year of professional experience
  • Personable, presentable, articulate, and able to work effectively with a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to research, collect and analyze information
  • Familiarity with Project Management practices and methodology
