Position Objective: Moosehead Breweries is looking for 2 (1x Saint John, 1x Moncton) ambitious and skilled University students to join our team as a Summer Sales Representative. This is an exciting 16-week opportunity from May 15th to September 1st to gain real-world experience and be a key contributor to our Atlantic Sales Team. You will work closely with our Full-Time Sales Territory Managers and support the execution of promotions and programs at retail, on-premise, and events across the region. Not only will you gain valuable sales and marketing skills, but you will also be part of a 150-year-old Canadian legacy company with a rich history and unique culture that embraces challenges and rewards the courage to go after what's difficult.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Help execute promotions and programs at retail and on-premise locations, and events.
  • Provide timely communication and reporting to the Territory Managers.
  • Identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Build customer and consumer loyalty within the region.
  • Assist with inventory management.
  • Provide written and verbal feedback on sales-related activities, opportunities, and reports.
  • Ensure company vehicles, equipment, property and logos are used in a professional manner.
  • Other projects as assigned by the Territory Manager.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program.
  • Strong analytical skills, including quantitative analysis.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent time-management and planning skills.
  • Competence in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to lift 20 kilograms multiple times per day.
  • Hold a valid driver's license (drivers abstract will be required).
