NBCC is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individual for the position of Student Records Clerk.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Data Project Manager, as a member of the College Registrar team, the Student Records Clerk is a key member of the team and will be the contact person responding to requests from current and former students for documents contained in the student records. You will be responsible to provide excellent customer service, whether on the phone, email or in person.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, responding to requests from students regarding transcripts and other student related documents contained in their file. You will also be responsible for general administrative functions such as filing, photocopying and faxing, maintaining the physical, archived files.

The successful candidate must also have strong client service orientation, be detail - focused, demonstrate initiative and be able to work independently while also working cooperatively with others as required.

Qualifications

Required qualifications for this opportunity include a high school diploma with at least one (1) year of recent and related work experience. Working knowledge of the MS Office products is also required.

Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

NBCC offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes a competitive salary for this position ranging from $33,436.00 to $39,702.00 annually. This position is a unionized position where the terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the New Brunswick Union of Public and Private Employees collective agreement (Administrative and Program Support Services) for the College.
