Full-time | 3 Year Term | Fredericton | On-Campus
Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri | 7:30 am - 4:00 pm | 40 hours per week
Salary Rate $22.97 per hour
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Storekeeper 2, this position is a manual and clerical position in receiving and issuing a variety of materials, supplies, tools and equipment in a storeroom.
- Receive, unpack, check and record receipt of goods; locate good in proper place; receive delivery orders. May record and follow up on all receiving discrepancies.
- Check stock for required commodity, size and lot; receive and sign delivery waybills.
- Store and maintain tools, material, or other equipment; distributes items for daily use; receive and store tools, material or equipment at the end of the day.
- Initiate requisitions for replenishing stock and pass on for administrative approval.
- Issue supplies and maintain related records.
- Price supplies of direct charge stock received and maintain record of issue; take, or assist in taking, physical inventories.
- Perform duties relating to athletic events such as gym set-up, minor maintenance or launder of athletic equipment, make signs, serve at the counter and report broken equipment.
- Clean and maintain assigned area in a neat and tidy condition.
- Perform other related duties as required.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years experience in storeroom work.
Additional Strengths
- Some knowledge of modern storekeeping practices and procedures, including computerized inventory management systems would be an asset.
