Lounsbury Furniture in Miramichi is seeking an experienced Store Manager. The Manager will oversee all operations of the retail store in support of short and long-term goals of the company while upholding the company's image and mission statement.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Manage, train and coach a team of sales professionals to achieve desires goals and objectives
- Work to resolve customer related issues
- Participate in setting goals and targets including sales, gross margin, net profit, and overall product mix and work to achieve or exceed those targets and goals
- Responsible for budgets, forecasts, monthly reports and diligent review of Profit & Loss Statement
- Daily operation of staff management, scheduling and supervision, customer satisfaction, neat product presentation, inventory management, and carrying out seasonal changes and promotional activities
- Participate in long-range, strategic plan development for the organization to ensure continued growth and success
- Work with other departments to ensure the customer receives the best customer service possible
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business and/or sales
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control techniques and procedures
- Strong knowledge of budget, accounting, and fiscal management
- Sound judgment and strong decision making skills
