We are looking for an Information Technology (IT) professional to join us in this evolving journey. Atlantic Lottery (AL) is seeking a Sr. Manager, IT Service Delivery and Optimization, based in Moncton, NB.

Reporting to the Director, IT Operations & Support Services, the Sr. Manager, IT Service Delivery and Optimization is accountable for driving optimization and cost reduction through technology and process reengineering and management of the AL infrastructure/network and service delivery while driving service excellence from our internal IT Ops resources as well as our IT vendors. The role would interface with many internal business units and third-party vendors to ensure that operational, security and financial requirements are met, and operational efficiencies are driven.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a management strategy driving their team from service continuity, to service optimization, and championing IT operation innovation/optimization programs as a catalyst of operational change.
  • Lead the IT vendor management function and align internal resources with a focus of generating operational excellence from our vendors, and significantly reducing cost.
  • Accountable for leading a technically skilled team towards digital dexterity with technology services while delivery/optimizing on a significant budget annually, optimizing IT Operations while driving service improvement and reducing costs.
  • Utilizing existing tools (and or implement new methodology/tools) be accountable to drive service improvement, process realignment and reporting and metrics for IT Operations Department as well as external vendors (influence and oversight on significant annual spend with IT vendors), including SLA management and continuous improvement methodology.
  • Work closely with business units in a proactive and collaborative manner including initiating monitoring and protecting AL interests by designing and implementing required measures.
  • Utilize expertise on business delivery models and emerging/disruptive technologies to "locate" business change opportunities and determine the appropriate execution path.
  • IT Operations - Development and maintenance of assigned IT Operations policies/procedures and standards and positioning to meet both current and future business models. Responsible for overseeing and championing process re-engineering within the team.
  • Leadership - Provide effective leadership, coaching, guidance and support enabling employees to reach their full potential; monitor and evaluate employee and team performance.

  • A strategic technology planning experience, managing multifunctional high performing teams;
  • A Business Process Reengineering Leader with demonstrated measurables (Cost Reduction, Improved productivity, process improvement);
  • Designed, implemented and deployed large-scale technical solutions;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Operational IT Security Standards;
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic direction into tactical operational plans, ensuring that they are well communicated and managed - overall an excellent communicator;
  • Have a passion for continuously improving customer experience;
  • Have experience influencing and earning the trust of senior stakeholders and moving business teams to take action;
  • Possess flexibility and have a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and highly ambiguous work environment and;
  • A strong level of passion and willingness to be awesome!

Who's a good fit for this team:

  • Someone with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work without missing critical deadlines and;
  • Ability to both adapt to and manage changing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

You should apply if you have the following:

  • 10+ years of technology optimization experience, including at least 10 years of experience managing an IT functional area(s);
  • 6+ years of experience in managing the development, execution and monitoring of IT Infrastructure, Networking and overseeing IT Security Standards in operations and;
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across and organization and within complex contexts.
