The Opportunity

This role will be based in our Cornwall, Ontario operation, with strong ties to Nova Scotia.
A position has arisen for a Solderer/Assembler, reporting to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Undertaking soldering duties, including through-hole and surface mount (SMT) technologies;
Electronic and mechanical assembly of assemblies and sub-assemblies according to drawings;
Dependent on level of experience, may work on 'first piece' assemblies originating from new designs;
Dependent on level of experience, may assist with inspection when required.

Qualifications
Applicants should have:
A flexible approach and able to help out other teams when required;
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks, often to tight deadlines;
Ability to work well with others and operate effectively in a team environment;
Assembly or soldering experience would be an asset, as would soldering qualification J-STD001.
