The Opportunity
As a Software Developer within our Engineering Team, you will help create, improve and maintain multiple families of top-in-class broadcast transmitters. Your area of specialisation will be in HTML5 design. You will design, develop, and integrate new features and functionality. As part of a small team, your contributions will have a direct impact on the user experience and quality of our products. A University Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred however other education programs combined with relevant experience will be considered.
The following systems and software are relevant to this position:
HTML5 is a requirement of this role, at a level where you have been developing, testing and have launched a successful product using HTML5;
Javascript;
Typescript;
Django;
Linux.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Familiarity with the following is an asset:
SQL Databases;
Automated/unit testing;
Linting;
Code coverage;
Git, VSCode, JIRA, Bamboo.
As well as being able to demonstrate:
Solid time management and planning skills;
Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
The ability to work well individually and on small teams;
Effective communication.
