The Opportunity
Nautel is searching for an experienced developer interested in delivering results, pushing boundaries and working with purpose-built hardware. As a Software Developer within our Engineering Team, you will help create, improve and maintain multiple families of top-in-class broadcast transmitters. You will design, develop, and integrate new features and functionality. You will also be involved in the maintenance of current software. As part of a team, your contributions will have a direct impact on the user experience and quality of our products. A University Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred however other education programs combined with relevant experience will be considered.
What you'll need
Qualifications
The following systems and software are relevant to this position:
- 5+ years' experience in C/C++Linux on ARM and x86
- Test Driven Development
- Linux/Unix operating systems
Familiarity with the following is an asset:
- Javascript, Typescript
- OpenEmbedded, Yocto Project
- Test AutomationDocker, Build Systems
As well as being able to demonstrate:
- Solid time management and planning skills
- Experience working with build pipelines and git flow
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- The ability to work well individually and on teams
- Effective communication, and documentation
