Thermalite, formally Downeast Plastics Ltd, is looking for motivated, energetic and adaptable people to join the team in their Cap-Pelé plant. Thermalite has been in operation since 1982 and is currently experiencing strong growth.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
- Supervise Shipping/Receiving personnel to safely and accurately meet the logistics needs of our internal and external customers
- Ensure that all outbound products are shipped accurately, with proper paperwork to include Bill and Lading, Packing List and proper Customs paperwork
- Ensure that all inbound material is received properly, routed properly, and accounted for properly
What you'll need
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or local equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience Supervisor or Team lead
- Knowledge of general office management and current computer office communications technologies; PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
Other Skills/Abilities
- Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction, able to maintain confidentiality and handle matters discreetly
- Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with senior level management and corporate contacts
- Exceptional high level of commitment to the success of our team and organization
- Able to work a flexible schedule at times in order to facilitate emergency orders
