We are growing in Tiverton, Ontario and are currently looking for an experienced Senior Test Lead/Delivery Manager to help us do that!
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- This is a blended role of a hands on Senior Test Lead and a Delivery Manager, working onsite out of the Client's location at Tiverton, Ontario
- Analyzing Client's current Testing needs and help plan resourcing
- Perform hands on Testing work including creating Test estimation, Test plans, Test strategies, Test case design, Test execution, Defect Triage, Test Management and Reporting
- Analyze Test automation needs of the Client and propose solutions (including approach, tooling, cost)
- Track and monitor Testing metrics/KPIs across multiple projects and present to Client Leadership during Governance meetings
- Coordinate testing activities from multiple vendors, including resources spread across multiple Geographies
- Participating with clients in discussions of prioritizing testing activities
- Knowledge/Performance Management of PQA Team members spread across multiple locations
What you'll need
Qualifications
- A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 12 years of testing experience with a minimum of hands on experience working on 3 industry verticals
- ISTQB certification is a must have
- Minimum of 3-4 years of Test/Delivery Management experience is a must have
- Experience leading, monitoring Test automation teams is a must
- Tracking and reporting status and metrics to clients and PQA
- Supporting clients in discussions of prioritizing testing activities
- Supporting the sales team with proposals, RFPs and SOWs
- Managing delivery of projects with a team of 5+ members
- Mentoring of junior resources on testing and professional level
- Demonstrating leadership and providing thought leadership with respect to Testing, to clients
- Experience setting up Testing Teams from scratch and ramping the Team up or down per Client's testing needs
- Ability to work full time out of Tiverton, Ontario for a period of 3 - 5 months initially and working out of our Mississauga office there-on, with frequent visits to Tiverton on a weekly/as needed basis is a must have for this position
- Real time experience working on Agile Scrum/Kanban Teams is a must
Asset Qualifications:
- Automation, mobile experience considered an asset
- Hands on experience on Oracle Primavera P6, IBM Maximo asset management would be a great advantage
- Hands on experience on Test automation tools like HP UFT, Selenium, Worksoft Certify would be an asset
- Experience working on Cloud testing is an asset
- Knowledge of Performance, Security Testing would be a great advantage
