We are growing across Canada and are currently looking for a Senior POS Tester in Oakville to help us do that!
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Develop, document and maintain functional / regression test cases and other test artifacts
- Perform as well as coordinate System integration testing , Interface Testing, End to End testing, Regression testing and assist/support for UAT
- Perform initial database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, and triggers
- Create and maintain test cases, test data
- Facilitate walk-through sessions on test scripts and test results
- Provide test execution status through HP ALM
- Coordinate across cross functional project and testing teams to gather test data, determine progress in testing
What you'll need
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Experince with ISO 8583
- 5+ years of hands on Testing experience
- 2+ years of hands on Point of Sale (POS) Testing experience
- Experience with Loyalty program testing
- 3+ years of hands on End to End Testing and Integration Testing on POS
- Basic UNIX scripting
- Proficient in Database Testing and SQL
- Proficient on HP ALM
- Coordination across multiple vendors, project teams and testing teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent oral, written communication
- Previous Test Lead experience
- Experience on Bulloch POS Testing
- ISTQB or other Industry recognized Testing certifications
- Agile / Scrum experience
