We are growing in Ontario and we are currently looking for an experienced Performance Test Specialist to help us do that!
We are looking for a Senior Test Specialist Performance Testing and API (REST) Automation to join our Toronto Team.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Performing a blended role of a Performance and API tester
- Create, execute & maintain API tests using SOAPUI
- Work closely with the technical team/ back-end developer to create appropriate API tests
- Create and execute API tests for REST assured services for various interfaces in the system
- Work with the Solution Designer/ Architect and help define the NFR's for the system
- Create and execute Performance test scripts for the Mobile App and various downstream/ upstream interfaces
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and switch between API testing and Performance testing as required in the Sprint
- Create and share the API Test execution results to the team and create defects as necessary
- Generate periodic Performance reports and articulate the results to the team
- Work closely with the stakeholders and provide active feedback & recommendations for better performance of the system
- Perform root cause analysis of any performance issues found and help implement corrective solutions
What you'll need
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a QA technical tester
- 5+ years of experience as a Performance Engineer and test using Performance Centre , Loadrunner / Jmeter in various projects
- Proficient working knowledge of testing API services, backend and databases
- Performance Testing experience in Mobile Apps
