Bluedrop Learning Networks Inc. is seeking an experienced front-end developer to join our team!
You will be working with our software development team to plan, design, code, and test features for our Integrated Skills Management system.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Help guide the direction of front-end implementation, adhering to industry best-practices.
- Create sophisticated, interactive, and highly available web applications.
- Ensure code quality through best practices, including unit testing and code review.
- Help evolve our standard component library.
- Provide guidance on UX design.
- Integrate with various third-party applications and data sources.
- Provide input and estimates for planning.
- Mentor and provide support for team members.
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Enjoy being part of a team.
- Fluent in modern front-end frameworks for web applications.
- Experience with JavaScript and HTML is required.
- You are happy to explain the difference between CSS, SCSS, and JSS.
- Experience with React would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design would be considered an asset.
- Experience with WCAG 2.0 accessibility requirements would be considered as asset.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of API design would be considered an asset.
