As our Senior Director, Sales, you will oversee our incredible New Business Sales and Sales Development teams as they grow our partnerships with some of the best marketers and companies in the world. You will also have the opportunity to travel to visit Dash Hudson customers and prospects during high-value meetings and events.

This role is based out of our Halifax office. We have a hybrid workplace and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Lead our New Business Sales and Sales Development Teams in Halifax, reporting into the SVP, Revenue.

Sales Development

  • Own and exceed quarterly and yearly revenue and pipeline quotas.
  • Oversee our lead routing process and measure success against SLAs with Marketing.
  • Collaborate with our Events and Content teams to deliver a high-quality experience for our leads.
  • Oversee the development and execution of sequences.
  • Coach and mentor our Sales Development Managers. Manage the performance of our SDRs and managers.
  • Run disqualify and lost deal analysis to make modifications to the owned company lists.
  • Invest in and develop a world class Sales Development team, including recruiting, hiring and training.

New Business Sales

  • Own and exceed quarterly and yearly revenue and pipeline quotas.
  • Oversee lead inbound routing process and measure success against SLAs with Marketing.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to represent the New Business perspective for go-to-market plans.
  • Mentor and Coach Sales Managers. Manage the performance of our AEs and managers.
  • Develop and own the Dash Hudson RFP process working cross-functionally to ensure we're putting our best foot forward for every form and presentation.
  • Manage the New Business forecast and pipeline reporting.
  • Regularly attend sales calls with external stakeholders.
  • Travel to high-value sales presentation meetings as needed.
  • Travel and present at events on behalf of Dash Hudson.
  • Manage relevant sales pipelines and dashboards within the CRM (HubSpot) and DataStudio.
  • Invest in and develop a world class Sales team, including recruiting, hiring and training.

  • 7+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Thrive with the challenge and opportunity to sell a leading product in a rapidly growing market.
  • Confident and empathetic leader who understands how to drive a team to success while retaining top talent.
  • Love to use data to solve business problems.
  • Effective negotiator with the ability to negotiate with some of the smartest marketers in the world.
  • Impeccable presentation skills.
  • Thrive in an environment of constant change- social media moves fast, and so do we.
  • Experience selling and managing in the SaaS industry.
  • Enjoys building brand new processes, systems and structures as well as optimizing existing ones.
  • Trusted advisor and leader who sets a high-bar, develops and grows their team to perform today and tomorrow, and liaises effectively with internal and external business partners and customers.
  • Having connections within the beauty, retail, fashion or entertainment industries is a plus, but not required.
