As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for supporting a high performing sales team in a rapidly growing company. You will be integral to the success of the sales team through mentorship, coaching, and strategic support. A love of sales, marketing, and management is a must!

What you'll do

Responsibilities

As a member of the sales team, who works directly with our Director of Brand Strategy, you'll be be supporting a team of Account Executives. Some key responsibilities you'll have are:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing a sales team of 6-8.
  • The quota will be determined and communicated by the Director of Brand Strategy.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of a designated sales team. Clearly outline the team's goals, tasks, and deadlines to them.
  • Manage the team's contribution to the CRM and their sales pipeline.
  • Review performance with each team member on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, where necessary.
  • Implement performance improvement plans for team members who are not achieving quotas.
  • On-board and train all new team members and manage the sales team on-boarding process.
  • Own training the team on the platform, manage knowledge and relationship with product team.
  • Prepare a weekly KPI deck.
  • Run the weekly sales and forecasting meetings with the Director of Brand Strategy.
  • Suggest and organize team building activities for the entire sales department.
  • Assist the Director of Brand Strategy with interviewing potential job candidates.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Successful previous experience managing sales and business development objectives.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize the full sales cycle.
  • Strong business acumen and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
