Lounsbury Furniture in Moncton is seeking a Sales Manager. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Sales Manager will oversee the sales staff by supporting them in achieving their sales objective and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Set sales targets and goals for each Sales Consultant
  • Develop sales plans and strategies with Sales Consultants and monitor their progress
  • Meet with Sales Consultants on weekly basis to review Score Card metrics
  • Manage Sales Consultants, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, conflict resolution, coaching on products, upcoming promotions, and selling skills
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints
  • Continually work to improve the overall customer service experience
  • Maintain consistent dialogue with store management and the buyer regarding inventory requirements, tag orders, and customer trends
  • Demonstrate the Company’s core and leadership competencies

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing or related field or combination of education and related experience
  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience in a related environment
  • Previous supervisory experience in a team environment
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring Skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
