Join our Asia Pacific team and leverage your technical expertise as a Sales Engineer / Success Manager to effectively promote, sell and support Remsoft solutions to clients across New Zealand, Australia and Asia. Your role will involve delivering technical presentations, addressing enquiries, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs and ensuring ongoing client value is delivered.

What you'll do


  • Conduct technical presentations to prospective forestry clients, effectively matching the features and benefits of the Remsoft solutions to the client's needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide tailored technical recommendations.
  • Address technical enquiries and concerns from clients, providing timely and accurate responses to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, technical documentation, and other sales materials to support the sales process.
  • Lead or support client project engagements.
  • Client facing project management for project engagements and success management.
  • Proactive identification and delivery of additional value add for individual clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to provide strategic insights and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert at all stages of the client relationship.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market insights to enhance product offerings.
  • Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and trade shows to promote Remsoft solutions and contribute to business growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team members to compile marketing material for conferences, webinars, blog posts.

What you'll need



  • Based in NZ or Eastern Aus timezone - this is a work from home role
  • Forestry experience or qualification in a connected field
  • Desire to understand and solve client problems
  • Solution focused with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and confident presenting
  • Process driven

Assets (desirable, but not required):

  • Familiarity with Remsoft's Woodstock Optimization Studio or Remsoft Operations
  • Forestry systems knowledge
  • Knowledge of Carbon sequestration protocols
  • Interest in continuous improvement in forestry planning
  • Experience in client success management
  • Technical aptitude - understanding and articulating complex problems to solutions
  • Recognition of obstacles internally and from clients and navigate to a positive solution for all
  • A collaborative mindset to work with internal teams
  • Flexibility in working hours - to liaise with our internal teams and Asia Pacific clients across several timezones
