Crosbie provides multi-discipline fabric maintenance support services and deck services to the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry. Our scope of services includes: scaffolding, coatings, insulation, passive fire and blast protection, composite pipe repair, positive pressure habitats, industrial cleaning, deck and crane operations, radio operations and rigging and slinging.

We have an immediate need for qualified Rope Access Technicians, IRATA Levels 1, 2 and 3, who are trained and offshore ready for work offshore NL

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Competence in rope access at level 1, 2 or 3 of IRATA qualification;
  • Undertake discipline work scopes as required;
  • Assist other Technicians as required; and
  • Adopt safe working practices and promote safety awareness.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada;
  • Possess the following valid certificates:
    • IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certificate
    • Basic Survival Training (BST)
    • HUET
  • Knowledge of IRATA International Code of Practice and General Requirements; and
  • Experience working at heights and knowledge of rigging and rescue techniques.
