WHAT WE OFFER

Standard Work Hours: Summer Hours | Mon - Fri | 7:45 am - 4:00 pm | 36.25 hours per week

Additional Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment up to 50lbs.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including after-hours support, events, and conferences is necessary.

Salary Range: $23.65 - $29.50 per hour

YOUR FOCUS

Reporting to the Classroom Technology and Services Supervisor, the Resource Administration/Education Coordinator provides a central point of contact for all UNBF classroom support issues for faculty, staff, and students. This position also provides several specialized technical services such as training, technical support, consultation, troubleshooting, emergency classroom response, and event support.

  • Assist faculty, staff, and students at UNBF with classroom and audio-visual support issues via phone, email, or in person.
  • Apply policies and procedures to the daily operations of the Equipment Pool and classroom support, while presenting a positive service image to the UNB community.
  • Handle the administration of the WebCheckout inventory tool, used to track equipment rentals and repairs.
  • Support other departments on campus who also use Web Checkout.
  • Assist with the operation of the Equipment Pool walk-up counter that serves the needs of UNBF.
  • Take reservations and makes equipment and space bookings for short-term loans and conference events.
  • Make recommendations to patrons regarding technical issues and challenges they're encountering.
  • Maintain all equipment in a clean, functional state.
  • Liaise with workshop technicians for any necessary equipment repairs or services.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Post-secondary diploma in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with and troubleshooting audio-visual, multimedia, and information technology equipment.

Additional Strengths

  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service, analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experienced with database administration and systems management.
  • Familiarity with Apple and Windows software and devices.
