The Opportunity
Do you have hands-on hardware Quality Assurance experience, or electronic/manufacturing experience and strong attention to detail? Do you want the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of production? Are you ready to learn new skills?
We are currently seeking an individual to work on our Quality team, performing Quality Verification / Inspection to comply with product quality and drawing requirements. Ideally, the successful candidate should have prior experience within a quality assurance, or exposure to Quality Assurance processes within an ISO900:2015 Certified Manufacturing Facility, and can look forward to a number of challenges, including:
- Performing visual workmanship verification / inspection of electronic assemblies & systems;
- Verifying product configuration and documentation to Customer requirements (Serial Numbers & Software)
- Basic electrical functionality testing and calibration checks to drawing/instructions .
- Performing work area & product quality audits;
- Being alert to potential problems and escalating these as required;
- Providing guidance/mentoring to manufacturing staff in relation to workmanship standards.
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Ability to work across all functions in a hands-on capacity;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently;
- Ability to read electromechanical assembly drawings and wiring lists;
- Microsoft Office skills;
- A knowledge of manufacturing operations concepts;
- Preferred candidates will have:
- Understanding of basic electronics;
- Training in electronics assembly and knowledge of IPC-A-610/620, or equivalent standards;
- Experience working in an ISO9001:2015 Certified Manufacturing Facility.
