The Opportunity
The Production team at Nautel is responsible for producing high quality fabricated materials and assembling these and electronic components to build our products. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector who will learn about our products, be involved in continuous improvement, learn and follow ISO processes. The responsibilities of the role include:
- Electrical, Mechanical, and Visual Inspection of items used and manufactured at Nautel;
- Inputs data of inspection results into a database, as well as generating reports;
- Work with other departments to improve products purchased by and/or produced at Nautel through resolution of process or identification of documentation issues;
- Auditing of work in progress by checking conformance to documentation;
- Monitor the status and calibration of tools and/or equipment;.
- Responsible for recognizing potential problems and escalating these.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Candidates for the above role should:
- Be able to troubleshoot and provide solutions to problems;
- Have the ability to read and understand blueprints, ECR's, Standard Operating Procedures, Workmanship Standards, parts lists, drawings and DWA's;
- Have attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ideally have previous experience within a similar role;
- Be able to work overtime on an as needed basis;
- Have the ability to follow work processes;
- Have a continuous improvement mindset.
- ISO Internal auditor training a plus.
