The role we are looking to fill reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for leading the day-to-day activities for new projects and supporting the Quality Management System as per ISO9001:2015 requirements.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, the successful candidate should have previous experience in a Quality Engineering/Specialist role, ideally with previous exposure to the assembly and test of electronics products. The successful candidate can look forward to a variety of challenges including:

Leading project quality assurance activities and be the QA point of contact;

Developing and implementing quality assurance deliverables (plans, presentations, reports, analyses);

Defining and implementing contract specific supplier quality requirements, supplier approval, development, milestones and monitoring;

Training relevant staff to specific contract quality assurance requirements;

Leading failure analysis and root cause investigation (internal and external), as well as corrective and preventative actions;

Maintaining records, analysis of pertinent data and reporting on trends;

Interaction and coordination at all levels, and across all functions;

Maintenance of Nautel ISO9001 registration by supporting day to day use and auditing of policies, procedures, methods and activities;

Use of internal tools for reporting, analysis and record-keeping.

What you'll need

Qualifications

Minimum of five years' experience in a quality role, ideally in an electronics/manufacturing environment; experience in Aerospace, Automotive or Defense industries would be an asset;

Ability to learn technical aspects of our product, to the component level;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Experience in analysis, reports, audits and investigations;

Ability to work across all functions in a hands-on, as well as leadership capacity;

Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently;

Strong & creative problem solving and analytical skills;

Must have experience with ISO9001 quality systems;

Experience or familiarity with problem solving and root cause analysis methodologies, six sigma techniques, calibration and configuration management;

Strong Microsoft Office skills;

Project management and planning skills;

Candidates will hold a Technology qualification or Engineering degree; and may have

either a CQE Quality designation; and/or six sigma accreditations.
