Our Property Services team is growing, and we're currently seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Project Manager to drive the completion of upcoming projects at our world class facilities in beautiful downtown Halifax.
Could you be our new Property Services Project Manager?
We're looking for demonstrated experience in leading a project from initiation to implementation. You're resilient, positive, and a natural collaborator. You have the strong ability to prioritize, stay focused and keep projects on track. You'll pride yourself on your ability to solve problems and communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
You'll work closely with the Director of Property Services and the Property Services team to lead and develop emergency operations policies and procedures, incident command, security and safety infrastructure development and preparedness. You'll also assist with capital priorities and assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of building services. As a collaborator and project leader, you'll work closely with other operational leaders and external partners to ensure a sustainable building services program for the Halifax Convention Centre and Scotiabank Centre.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Ideally, you'll have a degree or diploma and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience with Project Management methodologies. We're open to background/industry experience; and demonstrated ability to adapt and learn in a growing and changing environment will be highly regarded.

Events East
We manage and operate the Halifax Convention Centre, Scotiabank Centre and Ticket Atlantic. Created as part of a government partnership between the Province of Nova Scotia and Halifax Regional Municipality, we work in collaboration with them to manage our business in a responsible and transparent manner.
We were established in 2014 through legislation to operate, maintain and manage the activities of the Halifax Convention Centre in a manner that will promote and develop economic development, tourism and industry in the Province generally, and the Municipality.
Effective April 1, 2017, our mandate expanded to include the continued management and operations of Scotiabank Centre and Ticket Atlantic, formerly under Trade Centre Limited (TCL).
Our facilities and the events we attract are platforms for prosperity. Whether we’re attracting large delegations or hosting an elite group of athletes for an international competition, we are a catalyst for new opportunities and connections between Nova Scotia and the world.
