Our Property group is seeking a Property Clerk to join our Halifax, NS Office. The Property Clerk is responsible for supporting the Property and Foreclosure Teams by opening and closing files, maintaining the Property Group Calendar, assisting with the Property Search and Registration Inbox, preparing/sending out final reports, and other administrative tasks as required.
What you'll need
The ideal candidate will have a Paralegal or Legal Administration diploma or other related education, with experience in a legal support role. They must excel in a demanding, high-pace environment, be highly detail-oriented, and be flexible to changing priorities. They must have good judgment and problem solving abilities. The successful candidate will have exceptional technology skills, with proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office and legal billing systems.
As the liaison between the Firm and clients, the incumbent will have exceptional communication skills, a special focus on client service and the highest degree of professionalism. Working in a team environment, the successful candidate will be a strong team player and have high personal integrity. Experience with property transactions will be considered an asset.
