Salary Range: $23.48 - $27.26 per hour

YOUR FOCUS

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the incumbent is responsible for various procurement programs and is an integral part of the Procurement Services operation.

  • Manage the Procurement Card program, including training and compliance.
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset module.
  • Provide custom services for procurement inquiries to the Departments.
  • Maintaining expertise in the procurement processes to provided back up assistance to the Procurement department
  • Ensure P-card Policy and Procedures are maintained and communicated to cardholders.
  • Ensure that the monthly transactional download is complete and available in the P-Card provider's on-line Administrator software.
  • Review annual rebate amounts and maintain an analysis of the monthly spend amount.
  • Ensure that a monthly compliance audit is performed and track non-compliance issues, with communication to the cardholders, under an established process as agreed to with the Assistant Manager of Procurement Services.
  • Create and maintain a database to track asset tag numbers issued, end users, type of code, and department account numbers in Microsoft Excel.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • 3-5 years' relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with an online computerized procurement system and a procurement card program.

Additional Strengths:

  • Knowledge of Procurement legislation and trade agreements would be an asset.
  • Colleague software knowledge would be an asset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and be customer service orientated.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 with intermediate skills for Microsoft Excel.
