We require a payroll clerk

Responsibilities and Duties

· Processing weekly EFT hourly and salaried payrolls for 6 companies

· Issue yearly T4 slips.

· receptionist duties and answer phone calls

· Review and assessment of edits to control accuracy of payroll and benefit information prior to finalizing and issuing pay within established deadlines and schedules.

· Review of time and attendance information as they relate to payroll.

· Preparation of governmental payroll remittances and records of employment.

· Filing and organizing files.

· Process invoices to avoid late payment charges and ensure accurate and timely financial information for Management.

· Assisting with year end audit working papers preparation

· Other duties as assigned from time to time.
