The Payroll and HRIS Implementation Specialist will be an active member of the NSLC's SuccessFactors implementation team and will also work as part of a team to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role is a mixture of project work to support deliverables within the implementation of a new HRIS system and will also provide support to the payroll team with data entry, processing of confidential employment data, payroll processing, benefit administration, auditing, post payroll activities and reconciliations, year-end and T4 processing.

Qualifications

As a qualified candidate, you will have:

  • Post secondary diploma or certificate in Payroll or Accounting, HR Management, or Business Administration
  • Experience with implementation of SAP SuccessFactors
  • Minimum three years' experience working in a payroll function
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy in standard MS Office with advanced proficiency with Excel

As an ideal candidate you will also have:

  • Experience working with ADP (people@work, pay@work, ezlabor) or other HRIS payroll system
  • Relevant experience, in project execution, process analysis, change management, HR or IT
  • Canadian Payroll Association Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Certification
  • Experience executing multi-site payroll, ideally in a blended union/non-union environment

An alternate combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent.
