We are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator on behalf of one of our valued clients. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a strong work ethic and an exceptional attention to detail.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Bi-weekly payroll administration
- Benefits administration
- Preparing and submitting government remittances
- Reconciling payroll and benefits accounts in accounting systems
- Reporting on payroll metrics
- Preparation and submission of statistical surveys relating to payroll information
- Communicating with payroll and benefit providers
- Responding to employees inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
- Other duties within the scope of finance, as required
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in accounting with a focus on payroll
- 5+ years' experience in payroll administration
- Exceptional time management and detail orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- In-depth understanding of human resources and labour rules and regulations.
- Strong work ethic and team orientation
- Well versed in accounting and finance related technology and the ability to learn new systems and processe
