We are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator on behalf of one of our valued clients. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a strong work ethic and an exceptional attention to detail.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Bi-weekly payroll administration
  • Benefits administration
  • Preparing and submitting government remittances
  • Reconciling payroll and benefits accounts in accounting systems
  • Reporting on payroll metrics
  • Preparation and submission of statistical surveys relating to payroll information
  • Communicating with payroll and benefit providers
  • Responding to employees inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
  • Other duties within the scope of finance, as required

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in accounting with a focus on payroll
  • 5+ years' experience in payroll administration
  • Exceptional time management and detail orientation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of human resources and labour rules and regulations.
  • Strong work ethic and team orientation
  • Well versed in accounting and finance related technology and the ability to learn new systems and processe
