Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Limited

• Provide customer service at the Parts counter to walk-in customers and customers calling into the Parts Department.
• Perform physical inventory, on a regular basis, to ensure all stock levels are accurate on the system.
• Make sure the shipments that are going out are accurate (going to the right place).
• Decide what is the best way to ship something (ground, air, etc.)
• Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents.
• Assemble containers and crates in the Parts area: keep it clean and organized.
• Keep records/files up to date.
• Inspect packages when they arrive and make sure there is no damage… if there is, make arrangements to send it back and get a new order.
• Pack goods to be shipped and unpack goods received.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents (we want to make sure we received the right stuff).

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a parts department or inventory is an asset.
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).
• Keeps their work area very clean and organized.
• Reacts quickly to getting task done; has a strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Must be comfortable using a computer and email.
