Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri | 8:15 am - 4:30 pm | 36.25 hours per week

Salary Range: $43,596.00 - $54,493.00 per annum

YOUR FOCUS

Reporting to the Manager of Communication & Conversion, the Outreach, Communication & Recruitment Officer manages and executes faculty-focused recruitment communication plans to attract, recruit, and convert domestic and international students (undergraduate and graduate). This position works closely with all of Student Recruitment and faculties on both campuses.

  • Collaborate with faculties to develop informative and engaging content for digital, social, email marketing, and print campaigns.
  • Complete monthly outreach with faculty to keep abreast of changes, faculty updates, opportunities, and new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with members of the Student Recruitment team to ensure that all UNB programs are being highlighted and represented in ways relevant to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Communication & Conversion team on the development of creative assets.
  • Curate content for DiscoverUNB News and automated faculty campaigns.
  • Assist in the building and monitoring of communication campaign workflows within CRM Recruit.
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of recruitment-owned faculty and program web resources.
  • Conduct regular content audits of program pages and write new web content.
  • Assist in organizing all faculty-based events within Student Recruitment's Fall, Winter, and Spring event series.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a coordinated conversion strategy between Student Recruitment and faculties.
  • Research other universities and maintain an understanding of competition in the marketplace.
  • Keep abreast of industry standards and practices. Monitor competitors to maintain a current understanding of competition in the marketplace.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A University Degree in a related field, such as Communications, Marketing, etc.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, publication production, project management, or a related field.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Strengths

  • Experience with digital marketing and good knowledge of some or all the following software/technologies is considered a strong asset: web content management system, graphic design, HTML, Social Networks (ex. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, etc.), and Google Analytics.
  • A good knowledge of UNB and its program offerings is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively on cross-function and virtual teams; able to work independently as well.
  • Excellent copywriting skills. Able to deliver top-quality written communications to various audiences and across multiple channels.
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects effectively, manage time, and work under pressure.
  • Strong organization and administrative skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, tact, diplomacy and professionalism. Able to liaise with a variety of stakeholder groups. Strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong computing skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
