St. Thomas University has an opening for a grant funded 1-year term position of Outcome Plus Implementation Coordinator. The Coordinator will serve as a business solutions analyst to provide implementation support for the Orbis Outcome Plus experiential learning platform (Learning in Action) at St. Thomas University. The Coordinator will work closely with the staff from the Office of Experiential and Community Based Learning, the Career Development Office, and ITS as the main administrators of the platform. The Coordinator supports those offices by redesigning existing business processes to work with the new system, developing training content for our users, and helping implement and test new features. The Coordinator will also develop and deliver training for all users of the platform, including the administrative offices, faculty members, students and external partners. At the end of the 1-year term of this position, all major implementation tasks should be complete, and the offices of Experiential Learning and Career Development able to effectively administer the platform on a go-forward basis.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with university faculty and staff to promote adoption of the software;

· Develop protocols, and provide training and support for end users;

· Convert data from legacy programs to the Orbis Outcome Plus software at the university.

· Develop and implement, in coordination with staff, more features to expand the platform offerings for our users, including a Student Experience Record.

· Work with external partners to ensure the university's processes are aligned with our partners (e.g. New Brunswick provincial government).

· Test for the proper functioning of the Outcome Plus software with university processes and manage the resolution of anomalies with staff and the supplier.

· Liaise with Orbis Communications Inc., and the FutureNB Project Manager.

· Other tasks as required.

What you'll need

Qualifications

· An undergraduate degree;

· 2-4 years related experience;

· Experience in software implementation including testing;

· Experience developing and delivering training and tutorials on software systems to both experienced and novice users;

· Demonstrated attention to detail;

· Ability to work well as a team;

· Able to problem solve and provide solutions with a tight sense of urgency

· Experience coordinating software implementation projects;

· Experience with data conversion;

· Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;

· Experience working with Outcome Plus would be an asset.
