The Organizational Change Specialist will support the overall implementation of change management at BioScript and mitigate the risks of conflicts arising during the change process by collaborating with key stakeholders and employees, ensuring the change is understood and accepted.
As part of the Change Management team, the Organizational Change Specialist focuses on the people side of change. They will work with all business units to help manage all aspects of change ranging from large-scale business transformation projects to smaller day-to-day continual improvement projects. The primary responsibility will be implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize stakeholder adoption, usage, and benefit realization, while minimizing resistance. In this role you will work with project teams, subject matter experts and super users to increase buy-in and user adoption.
How you will make an impact
- Support change management plans and strategies to ensure successful change implementation;
- Coordinating with other departments to successfully implement the changes;
- Monitoring the progress of change management and making adjustments as needed;
- Evaluating the impact of changes on employees;
- Identifying and assisting in potential resistance or concerns to change;
- Creating effective strategies to minimize employee resistance to change;
- Communicating with employees and stakeholders about changes;
- Providing support to employees during the transition to new changes within the organization;
- Coordinates the change network responsible for communicating the change into the organization;
- Facilitate meetings, deliver presentations as required;
- Work with process teams to ensure that new design elements are being appropriately communicated to the organization and effectively incorporated into end user training content.
What you'll bring to our team
- Previous experience in a change role with a strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies will be considered an asset;
- Internal understanding of CRC, CIC, or PSP preferred but not required;
- Prosci certificate or other Change Management certification an asset;
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process;
- Experience with large-scale organizational change effort will be considered an asset;
- Familiarity in developing strategies that ensure successful change implementation is an asset;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with different stakeholders;
- Good problem-solving skills to manage conflicts and address employee concerns;
- Competency to work alone as well as with other teams;
- Staying optimistic and supportive to employees during times of change;
- Building trust with employees and other stakeholders to support the change process;
- Leadership skills to motivate and encourage employees during the change process;
- Ability to manage change in different areas of the organization; and
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail.
