The Role

The Membership AR and Contractor Payment Administrator is a key role in the Finance Department reporting directly to the Manager, Membership. This role operates in an office setting and offers hybrid working conditions. This is a full-time position working out of the Saint John location. Responsibilities include processing weekly contractor payment submissions electronically or paper based, verifying, and preparing payments for approval and validating charges are appropriate. Processing weekly membership receipts, issuing invoices, and batching of various membership transactions. In addition, the role assists the Manager of Membership with setup, maintenance of pricing levels, promotional discounts and Members data within our ERP system as well as assisting with membership related inquires and requests. Responsibilities

What you will be doing on the job:
Contractor payments:
• Weekly processing of contactor payments flowing through our ERP roadside module.
• Assisting with entering contactor related charges into the ERP.
• Preparation of payment summaries for managements approval.

Membership Pricing & Data Administration:
• Assisting the Manager of Membership with setup and maintenance of pricing levels and promotional discounts within our ERP system.
• Maintenance of all membership master data including but not limited to setup of new memberships, member transfers in and out & membership cancellations within our ERP system.
• Various testing related to new system releases and works with ERP provider to resolve open ticket or testing results.
• Assisting the Manager of Membership with member communications received.
AR
• Bi-monthly processing of membership renewals.
• Daily processing of incoming payments through various methods.
• Daily monitoring and balancing of cash drawers.
• Processing gift memberships.
• Process reciprocal billings for out of territory members.
• Preparation and proof reading of invoices, statements & E-Bills.

What you'll need

Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications will be required to carry out this role:

· Minimum 3-5 years experience in an accounts payable\receivable or similar role.

· Bookkeeping or accounting training/certification.

· Ability to use reporting tools and interpret the data.

· Ability to use online banking platforms and payments systems.

· Ability to troubleshoot, log and correct payments issues when they arise.

· Computer literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products.

· Accounts receivable/payable literacy, including knowledge of general principles and procedures.

· Well developed organizational and time management skills.

· Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal.

· Has a customer focus.

· Possess analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail.

· Has a team mindset.

· Is adaptable and flexible with a positive attitude.

· Demonstrates accountability and dependability.

· Has an aptitude toward development and continual learning.
