The Opportunity
We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced proposal writer with a strong understanding of marketing and business development. As the Marketing and Proposal Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and exceeding client expectations at every turn, while working with other members of our team.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the entire proposal generation process:
- Assist on responding to Requests For Proposal (RFPs);
- Developing proposal templates;
- Managing corporate information and process write-ups;
- Maintaining project and customer profiles in a CRM;
- Ensuring that proposals are compliant with the solicitation and are delivered on time;
- Managing and providing guidance to authors on content and graphics development;
- Ensuring proposals are ready for scheduled reviews and final delivery;
- Overseeing the maintenance of internal materials in the current proposal library, including marketing slicks, past performances, and resumes;
- Developing marketing material;
- Organizing and planning trade shows.
Other duties may include:
- Supporting other business development, operational and corporate initiatives. This includes creating white papers and participating in strategy and information sessions;
- Assisting with social media presence;
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of the company website.
What you'll need
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of proposal writing / communications experience;
- Experience with trade show planning and set up;
- Proven experience with marketing activities;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills;
- Above average attention to detail;
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of personnel;
- Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines, occasionally working evenings and weekends as needed;
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
