Are you looking to develop your expertise in market intelligence and product development within a collaborative and innovative team?
As a Junior Market Intelligence and Product Development Analyst, you will contribute to the evolution of our group benefits offering by supporting research, analysis, and product development initiatives.
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Projects and Continuous Improvement, you will participate in collecting and analyzing market, customer, and competitor data to support decision-making and product development efforts. You will also contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and product-related documentation while ensuring the accuracy and consistency of information.
In this junior-level role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support market research activities, document business needs, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our product offering. You will benefit from ongoing coaching and development opportunities designed to strengthen your analytical skills, deepen your understanding of the market, and expand your knowledge of group insurance products.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Intelligence
- Collect, organize, and analyze data related to market trends, customer needs, competitors, and product performance.
- Contribute to the preparation of dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Identify key insights and trends to support business decision-making.
Product Development
- Participate in product positioning analyses and research activities that support the development and enhancement of our offerings.
- Contribute to the preparation of business cases and the validation of hypotheses using available data.
- Support various initiatives related to product development and continuous improvement.
Market Research and Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct market research and monitor industry, competitive, and regulatory trends.
- Compile, summarize, and share relevant information with key stakeholders.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing customer needs and market opportunities.
Product Launch and Sales Support
- Contribute to the development of sales enablement tools and product documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams on product launches and updates.
- Maintain and organize product-related documentation and resources.
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required, both written and spoken.
- University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, market research, product development, or a related role.
- Strong analytical, research, and information synthesis skills.
- Ability to prepare clear reports and effectively communicate analytical findings to various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of group insurance products or the insurance industry is considered an asset.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
