NBCC is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individual for the position of Manager, Curriculum Development.
This is a Full-Time Term position until March 31, 2020.

What you'll do
Responsibilities
Reporting to the AVP Research and Program Innovation, the Manager, Curriculum Development leads the College to new levels of excellence in program design and development for all existing and future programs. This role supports program development and review, as well as provides leadership in the establishment and support for eLearning and flexible delivery across curricula.
Curriculum development responsibilities include, but are not limited to; ensure that educational content, methods and curriculum are adjusted to reflect changes within sectors as well as technical, cultural and societal changes; lead the development of approaches to curriculum integration, diversification and differentiation; oversee the development of consistent curricula, learning resources and delivery plan standards, within a framework for continuous review and improvement; develop and implement recommendations for continuous improvement of curriculum development policies, processes and deliverables; contribute to capacity development of specialists, faculty, managers and decision-makers in the design, management and implementation of quality curriculum development processes; provide training and support to academic divisions and faculty in the area of curriculum development, review and improvement; establish an expansive library of interactive learning objects and course content to support faculty in the adoption of innovative teaching practices; identify opportunities to advance NBCC's commitments and integrate them into the curriculum.
Leadership responsibilities include but are not limited to; direct a team of curriculum and learning design professionals; plan, direct and coordinate the work assignments; manage relationships with business partners with regards to projects; oversee the project management process, direct and coordinate activities in the selection, implementation, management and maintenance of projects; develop reporting requirements for project milestones; provide input to and manage budget assigned to curriculum development; develop project budgets and delivery schedules through regular meeting updates and reports.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Required qualifications for this opportunity include a College Diploma and eight (8) years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor of Education Degree, Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate, and a minimum of six (6) years of related work experience; OR a Master's Degree in Adult Education with a minimum of four (4) years of related work experience. Related experience must include instructing and supervisory experience. Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.
Candidates must possess excellent oral, presentation and written communicative skills.
Experience with differentiated instruction, competency and mastery-based learning, and knowledge of and/or experience with instructional and/or learning design would be considered an asset.
Written and spoken competence in English is required.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

NBCC offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes a competitive salary for this position ranging from $64,350 to $85,644 annually.
