Office of Experiential Education
The Office of Experiential Education provides leadership and strategic direction for UNB's Strategic Plan - Toward 2030. In collaboration with external employers, funders, & partners, we create, strengthen, and support experiential learning opportunities for all UNB students. Our mandate is to improve the quantity and quality of experiential learning opportunities for students in all faculties at UNB.
WHAT WE OFFER
Full-time | 1 Year Term | Fredericton | Hybrid

Salary Range: $54,358 - $70,665 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Director, Experiential Education, the Manager, Curricular Experiential Learning works closely with all faculties to operationalize and report on strategic goals related to experiential learning at UNB. The Manager is responsible for leading the Experiential Learning Community of Practice and supporting curricular experiential opportunities in collaboration with UNB's faculties and academic departments.
- Liaise with all faculties at UNB to operationalize strategic projects that support UNB's strategic vision goals.
- Act as primary contact for all experiential learning staff at UNB to provide training, resources, and support.
- Collaborate with faculty members, leaders, and experiential learning staff in all UNB faculties to develop curricular experiential learning opportunities including reflective assessment options.
- Collaborate with the Funding Support Unit within OEE to identify appropriate funding for curricular experiential learning opportunities.
- Identify opportunities and foster relationships to engage external partners in curricular experiential learning.
- Manage strategic and project plans for Office of Experiential Education faculty support projects.
- Manage the Curricular WIL Innovation Fund which provides funding for experiential learning projects.
- Lead the development and progress of an educational resource development project creating modules that support skill development.
- Coordinate annual symposium of student projects.
- Organize showcases of experiential learning projects (held each semester).
- Coordinate workshops and professional learning opportunities for UNB faculty and staff to increase knowledge and capacity for experiential learning at UNB
- Attend or support career and job fairs held at UNB, orientation and student recruitment events, partnership recruitment events.
- Supervise employees in the Curricular EL Support Unit of the Office of Experiential Education .
- Develop work plans for the Curricular EL Support Unit employees and support employees with progress reporting on projects.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A University Degree in a related field.
- 5 years of experience in higher education, experiential learning, or student affairs
- 5 years of people management and team leadership experience

- Experience in community outreach, relationship building, and/or experiential education projects is considered a strong asset.
