• Building new or copying existing dies needed for production from blueprints or designer specifications, using CNC Machine
• Performing preventative maintenance on production dies and molds
• Repairing/troubleshooting damaged Molds and Dies
• Operating different machines for all of the needed operations including programming and using CNC machine, different power saws, milling machines, lathe machines, different drills/drill presses, grinders, crane lift, presses, EDM Machine, hardening oven, different welders, and other tools as required
• Inspecting all molds presses and dies, to ensure product quality and well functioning and safety of workers
• Helping bring improvements to dies and molds to increase productivity and/or efficiency of production
• Performing necessary changeovers in modifiable dies and molds
• Performing constant quality inspections of products to ensure well running of presses
• Following all safety measures and policy pertaining to safety, including performing tag and lockout procedures on presses
• Following all safety rules while operating overhead crane, and doing inspection checklist before use
• Following all safety rules/practices and policies pertaining to safety.
• Training and supervising apprentices
• Performing any other duties.

• Able to function well in a team environment
• Good communication skills
• Course or experience, in tool and die making would be a definite asset
• Think using a proactive approach and is willing and eager to learn
• Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices and able to work with minimal supervision
• Experience in operating the tools and machines used in the shop including, welders, CNC machines, drill presses, different power tools, milling machines, lathe machines, different drills/drill presses, grinders, crane lift, presses, EDM Machine, hardening
• Task oriented and focused on detail and safety
• Very good manual dexterity and able to understand measurement units, tools, and the measuring itself up to 10000th of inches
• Good knowledge of technology and computers
• High School Diploma, or equivalent
