NBCC is currently seeking dynamic and competent individual for a Learning Design Consultant (eLearning) position.

This is a term position from April 2020 - December 2020.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Curriculum and Online Development and working with subject matter experts, the Learning Design Consultant will be responsible for creating, revising and maintaining online course materials using software such as Adobe Captivate, Storyline, Lectora and Camtasia. The successful candidate will assist with managing their project schedule and tasks using MS Project.

We are looking for a team player with excellent collaborative, consultative and communication skills as well as experience with instructional design processes, elearning design and development, SCORM compliant learning management systems (e.g., D2L), and project management tools.

Qualifications

Qualifications required for this opportunity include a Bachelor's Degree in Education or other related field and a minimum of six (6) years of related experience, which includes three (3) years' experience developing curriculum, instructional design materials and online courses

Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Preference may be given to candidates with experience working in a related role in a post-secondary environment.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

NBCC offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes a competitive salary for this position ranging from $2,489 to $2,876 bi-weekly. This position is a unionized position where the terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Educational (Consultation and Development) collective agreement for the College.
