Reporting to the Category Sourcing Manager (Operations), the Junior Procurement Analyst will be responsible for performing administrative and procurement duties to support the Supply Chain Department. The primary responsibilities will be to liaise with the SCM team and internal customers for PO Creation, Oracle Support, Contract Administration, RFQ's and SharePoint support and administration. This work will be assigned by Category (Gaming, Operational, IT Gaming) based on current business demands and trends. 

This role will also communicate with vendors for quotes and account information, including but not limited to Oracle Support and navigating the Electronic Bidding Tool.

Responsibilities

Purchase Order Management: Manage assigned PO queue by creating purchase orders within the Oracle EBS; following up with internal customers, making any adjustments, updates and close all PO's based on receipt of goods and services.

Prepare RFQs: Conduct Request for Quotations as assigned, according to ALC's processes and the Atlantic Procurement Agreement. The expectation will be to utilize sourcing tools (i.e. bid processes, benchmarks, competitive market data etc.) to identify savings opportunities with business owners. Provide regular updates on progress to internal customers; support negotiations with business owner and award Purchase Orders as required.

Contract Administration: As assigned; manage the administration of contracts, statement of works, change orders, addenda etc. through the signing authority process and importing executed documents via the Oracle Contract Repository Tool.

Oracle Administrator; Liaise with internal Oracle users for initial training and on-going support for system questions/troubleshooting as well as generating ad hoc reporting to support data requests. The role will also liaise with external Oracle users for system access to the e-bidding tool, vendor registration and the procure-to-pay (including Visa).

Make on-going recommendations on continuous improvements of the Oracle toolset within the SCM functions.

Supply Chain Management Knowledge: Remain current on supply chain management industry and internal practices, terms and conditions of the Atlantic Procurement Agreement, principles of contract law etc. Constantly striving to contribute improvement to all processes and procedures so as to achieve better results for overall company objectives.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in supply chain, business, finance or closely related field
  • One (1) year of experience working in a public procurement environment (experience in a centralized/automated electronic purchasing environment)
  • Coordinate with the respective analysts and management to implement changes. Proficiency in the use of Windows and Microsoft Office Applications, with a strong proficiency with Excel
  • Strong competency in document management and the use of SharePoint as a collaborative platform
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be adaptable to working in a rapidly changing and evolving environment
  • Possess tact when dealing with sensitive situations and ensuring confidentiality and compliance to SCM standards and processes
  • Customer service - demonstrated sense of urgency
  • Strong aptitude in adopting new software
  • Strong organizational skills and work prioritization
