NBIF is looking for a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join a 4 month paid internship.

What you'll do
Responsibilities
Review and examine incoming investment opportunities
- Determine investment strategies that positively impact business development and the New Brunswick community
- Conduct financial analysis and the due diligence required to make sound investment decisions
- Assist with negotiating and structing investments
- Actively support our investee firms
- Monitor market trends, opportunities, and risks
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Combination of work experience with a degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Business Administration/Professional Designation
Collaborative natured with ability to work independently
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated, with the discipline required to work independently
- Skilled and knowledgeable in the areas of: finance and/or accounting, venture capital financing, entrepreneurship, enterprise creation
- Familiarity with start-up landscape in New Brunswick would be considered an asset
- Bilingualism would be considered an asset
