IMG is looking for a self-motivated Inventory Control Analyst to join our team.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain accurate BOMs and routings on all manufactured IMG skus
- This may include:
- Time studies
- Material discrepancies investigations
- Working with pricing/costing/engineering
- Investigating WIP variances
- This may include:
- Support inventory management by investigating cycle count discrepancies
- Approves cycle count discrepancies up to +/- $250 after investigation
- Review scrap files and investigate anomalies
- Responsible for making sure cycle counts are reviewed and approved in a timely manner to keep inventory accurate
- Reduce scrap through improving accuracy of BOMs
- Reduce costs through accurate routings
- Assist in reducing slow moving inventory activities
- Establish inventory targets and ensure inventory levels are within tolerance of said targets
- Monitor inventory turns and move inventory to where it will move more consistently.
- Create and enforce inventory control processes (cycle count/scrap processes)
What you'll need
Qualifications
- In depth knowledge of production scheduling dynamics within manufacturing and a distribution environment
- Ability to perform root cause analysis
- High attention to detail, highly organized, and solutions oriented
- Possess good understanding of overall plant operations. (example: Bill of Material, Production Planning)
- Basic computer skills with knowledge in Excel, Word and Email.
- Proactive, self-motivated, energetic, and independent
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively to various levels of the organization
- Ability to communicate fluently in both official languages would be an asset.
