We are growing in Mississauga, ON and are currently looking for an Intermediate Tester to help us do that! This role will be responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test scripts, using a variety of automated testing tools, creating test reports, traceability matrices and other testing artifacts.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Develop, document and maintain manual functional / regression test cases and other test artifacts
- Perform System integration testing , Interface Testing, End to End testing, Regression testing and assist/support UAT
- Perform UI, API, database testing including designing and manipulating test data
- Regression testing on Mainframe CICS
- Create, maintain and execute test cases on HP ALM
- Facilitate walk-through sessions on test scripts and test results
- Provide test execution status through HP ALM
- Coordinate across cross functional project and testing teams to gather test data
- Participate on all Scrum ceremonies as needed
- Providing regular status updates on daily deliverables to the Test Lead
What you'll need
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5 - 7 years of hands on Testing experience
- 1+ years of hands on Testing experience on Mainframe (CICS)
- 2+ years of hands on API Testing experience using SOAP UI / Postman
- 4+ years of hands on HP ALM/HP QC experience
- 2+ years of experience working on Agile Scrum Teams
- Coordination across multiple vendors, project teams and testing teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent oral, written communication
- Hands on experience on Test automation using Microfocus UFT / Selenium considered an asset
- Hands on CI/CD, DevOps experience considered an asset
- ISTQB or other Industry recognized Testing certifications considered an asset
