We are growing in Victoria and are currently looking for an experienced Intermediate / Senior Software Tester to help us do that! This role will be responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, performance test plans, test reports, user acceptance test plans, traceability matrices and other testing artifacts.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Generate test data sets
- Perform functional, usability, performance and user acceptance testing
- Validate that business stakeholders' expectations are achieved during the testing process
- Identify and document defects and follow through to their resolution
- Narrow down defect dependencies and come up with reproducible steps in defect reports
- Identify areas for improving efficiency, shortening of test cycles and automation with test scripts; provide test data sets to automation tester to automate these areas.
- Work closely with developers, business stakeholders and the management team to effectively assure delivery of a quality project
What you'll need
Qualifications
- 5+ years of functional testing experience including requirement validation, integration, end to-end, usability and performance testing
- Computer Science degree, Engineering degree, or equivalent work experience
- Experience creating test plans, test cases as well as strong documentation skills
- Strong desire to deliver an excellent end user experience
- Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum preferred)
- Familiar with Agile frameworks and testing techniques such as ATDD or BDD
- Knowledge or experience testing workforce management applications is a plus is an asset
- Experience composing SQL queries for data verification is an asset
- Experience working with Oracle technologies is an asset
- Exposure to automation testing tools such as Katalon, Selenium, JMeter or Gatling is an asset
- Exposure to service level and/or API testing is an asset
