We are currently looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative / Customer Service / Order entry to join our winning team. Our ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter who thrives by giving exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains relationships with existing customers to grow business.
  • Support Head Office with daily order entry
  • Researches and obtains resolution of a variety of customer/consumer complaints and issues and documents them as required for manager reporting purposes.
  • Tracks order activity and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems; contacts appropriate department to expedite the delivery of selected orders.
  • Serves as a link between customers and sales staff to assure responsiveness; assists sales team with various research and/or special projects.
  • Resolves technical difficulties and issues with the customer/consumer.
  • Send appropriate new customer documentation to potential customer.
  • Resolve discrepancies throughout order processing procedure and communicate results to appropriate departments and customer as required.
  • Manage internal setup process for new customers or expanded business for existing customers.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers with inquiries such as order status, pricing, availability, and delivery information.
  • Communicate return authorization request to appropriate departments internally and provide accurate documentation to the customer as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in related field; 5+ year related experience in customer service; and sales support; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic computer skills using applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Detail oriented, able to meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a distribution environment and HVAC industry is an asset; Product knowledge preferred.
  • Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning system (Oracle) is an asset.
